KINCAID
The groomers were busy last night setting up for the State High School Championship races today. There will be more races tomorrow and Saturday.
The trails are in great shape and the skiing is outstanding today for both classic and skating. If you're lucky, you might even catch a few rays!:)
HILLSIDE
The trails are skiing great today. Beautiful well-packed lanes and awesome track throughout the park, on the Tour Trail and at APU. Maybe take your sunglasses?
Tom and Chuck were out today working/brush cutting on the Tour Trail. They cleaned up all the skate lanes on the Lighted Loops, Double Bubble and the Spencer. They re-tracked some of the trails, but for the most part, the tracks are in good shape. No action today on the Richter or Ridge.
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Bill's Pisten Bully was 20 hours past it's service interval, so he is changing oil, greasing, inspecting and detecting.
He groomed Beach Lake Trails yesterday morning and they are in great shape for both classic and skating.
"UWAX is Back" Kincaid weather hotline is back online 248-UWAX (248-8929) will give Time, Temp in F, Wind direction, wind speed & humidity. Listen closely, - Hal, the automated voice, is a bit hard to understand. Huge thank you to Karl Volz for making that happen.
