All groomers are in a holding pattern for today until the temperatures drop. It's a bit breezy in Anchorage, but trails are in good shape for both classic and skate, just watch for debris.
KINCAID
Craig will head out tonight when it cools off to prepare the park for the Special Olympics events on Saturday and Sunday. They are out today setting up the race course with markers and fencing in the stadium area. The events will be held from 8 am - 3 pm and they'll be using the first half of the Mize and a section of the inner Chalet Loop. Come out and cheer on the athletes!
HILLSIDE
Tom will be out late this evening and early tomorrow morning as soon as the temperatures drop to spruce up the Hillside for the weekend skiers. The trails are in great shape for classic and skating. Have a great Friday!
CHUGIAK/EAGLE RIVER
Bill will be out tonight preparing Beach Lake for the weekend. All the trails are skiing well and in great shape for both classic and skate. Enjoy!
